LOVED

By Margueritte Mokgaetji Pitjeng, Veszprem, Hungary.

The hate you give is euphoric

A form of ecstasy that leaves me anorexic

A fool in love is what I’ve come to be

Momma did say I should’ve never left for the sea

Black walls and broken bones

A fool in drugs I came to be

I knew your buttons and how to switch programs

But you were a 21st century typa anagram

You knew my weakness

You knew my brain

You knew my every calaway

Your smoked breath that cooks my spine

A morphine tube that called me dime

My rags disgusted you

And I know you only come second to none

For the hate you give is lethargic

Exposing its thirst in the deep of the light

So, like a fool in love I became rough

An uncut art with no form…Gevaar
