TRUST

TRUST

I’m not talking about the corrupted trust word C, no. I’m talking about real trust.
That word hardly exists in this country.

Trust is rare.
The corporates that could be trusted, are not anymore.
The government that could be entrusted, aren’t anymore.
The church that won trust, has almost lost it.
The elders and relatives who were dependable and trustworthy got sold out.
The family that was knit together lost trust in each other for reasons beyond repair.
The systems that were foolproof, got viruses that skim all your info for detrimental effects.
The bank that carried your trust isn’t foolproof anymore and an insider can easily skim your riches off.
That innocent man or woman whom you could trust got infected with corrupt practices.
The lover and the loved are playing hide and seek games, infidelity being tossed as the ball, to and fro.
“Bwana asifiwe sana wapendwa” has also questionable trust.
Soon or later all trust seems lost.

EXCEPT, that one, you know who!
The trustable one by your side that is the only one left.
Keep him, keep her.
Na uache kumangamanga!
Huku nje ni kubaya
